From Paxos to Paint
I spent a few days on the beautiful islands of Corfu and Paxos, where the colors, the calm, and the sea left a lasting impression. 💙
One night over dinner, I spoke with a local waiter. I asked if he enjoyed living on the island.
His answer stayed with me:
“In summer, the island is beautiful — but I work day and night. Everyone else enjoys it. I can’t.”
That contrast struck me deeply.
For me, being there was the first time in months that I truly exhaled.
There was one moment I couldn’t shake:
The shallow waters at Paxos, glowing with soft sunlight, creating net-like patterns over the sand.
That moment became this painting.
