Choosing my Own Path - 50 x 70 x 2 cm

€610.00

Acrylics on canvas. Finished with a professional high-gloss varnish. Comes ready to hang.

‘Choosing My Own Path’ is an abstract-figurative mixed-media painting about trust, longing, and the courage to keep moving even when the destination is still unclear.

The female figure was inspired by a photograph of the artist standing on the Acropolis, just as a sudden gust of wind caught her dress and hair. In the painting, she moves through a dreamlike world of oversized, colorful flowers, while her dress appears to merge with the flowing forms around her.

The work captures that space between knowing and not knowing - between having a direction and still longing for something that cannot yet be fully named.

For the artist, ‘Choosing My Own’ Path is a reminder that we do not always need to see the entire road ahead. Sometimes it is enough to take the next step and trust that the path will become clearer as we move.

Part of the ‘Just Fly’ series, the painting reflects themes of hope, self-trust, freedom, and the willingness to move forward without complete certainty.

With its vivid colors, dreamlike atmosphere, and blend of figurative and fluid elements, ‘Choosing My Own Path’ brings movement, optimism, and a sense of possibility into a space. It works especially well as a statement piece in a living room, bedroom, hallway, or modern office.
