Violet Flowers was inspired by those moments when you have been working on a problem for too long, turning it over in your mind without finding the answer. The obvious solutions are there, but none of them feel right. Then you step away. Perhaps it is already evening. You go outside, walk through a garden illuminated by moonlight, and suddenly, almost unexpectedly, the idea appears.

That moment of renewed clarity and creative energy lies at the heart of Violet Flowers.

The painting also carries a personal connection. My Greek grandmother, whose favourite colour was violet, often told me that I had meraki - a Greek word for doing something with soul, creativity and a piece of yourself. Her words stayed with me, and the deep violet flowers became a natural way to connect creativity, intuition and memory.

Against the dark background, flowing shades of violet, turquoise, pink and flashes of yellow seem to glow from within. The organic forms unfold like flowers at night, somewhere between botanical shapes, movement and imagination.
